Stage 1 of 3
Tell us where the mail lives, how many years it covers and whether the company is trading, closing or being sold. -
Stage 2 of 3
We set that against the vendor clauses on our board, the record-keeping rules that may still bind the mail, and the buyers that ask for email. -
Stage 3 of 3
You get a written reply on your own archive: a licence while the company trades, a sale of a closing company's mail by its directors or office-holder, or a route agreed with the adviser who sent you.
No archiving vendor, mail service or buyer pays to be listed here, and no link earns a commission. Every answer is our reading of a published document, not legal advice on your own contract. How we are paid: when a company licenses its mail to a buyer we introduced, it pays us 12.5% of that deal, with a minimum, where we act as its exclusive agent, or 10%, with a minimum, when its mail goes into a bundle or the pool, both agreed in writing beforehand; a fee a buyer pays us is credited to the company.
